Mikhail Petrov RUSSIAN FEDERATION (11/11/2010) "Nice location located in the city center, very friendly owner. Studio was vary cozy but street parking was very expensive ( 40 euros a day). I would recommend this place as a good alternative to hotel. "

Patricia Clahane CANADA (08/14/2010) "Very, very happy with our experience with both City Mundo and this particular accommodation, L10819. For our family of parents/adult children (or two couples) this was really ideal accommodation. Both units are completely private from each other and the few other spaces in the building, but we had the convenience of being under one roof. Our experience: At the pre-arranged time of our arrival at the apartment a friendly hostess greeted us, offering practical guidance, security tips and answers to our questions about services in the area. Both elements of the accommodation were bright, well-equipped, clean units in a classic building. As illustrated, the upper apartment (painted white, with one bed in the loft and a coach below) was modern style, with a very bright, airy feeling. If you are heading to this unit, be ready for lots of stairs for sure! However, the red unit is only one set of stairs above ground level. The red unit has a more historic feel as befits an vintage building, eg: high ceiling, lovely fireplace & ceiling trim, slightly uneven floor that creaked a bit. This unit had a relaxed elegance, a few signs of ‘character’ from gentle use over a long period, with modern conveniences all in good shape, including a suitably well-equipped kitchen where we cooked a complete meal. Towels and bedding were fresh and generous, liquid soap was available in the kitchen (you supply your own toiletries). I stayed in the red unit, where we felt earplugs would be helpful for sleeping, due to the tram stop near our open windows. The location was perfect for us. Several tram routes stop directly in front of the building. There is frequent service direct from train station and Dam Square, only a few minutes ride on these efficient trams that are so ‘Amsterdam’ . Walk a very few blocks to the famous and fun Heineken Experience, Rijksmuseum, hop-on- hop-off canal tour boats, shopping etc. There are a laundromat and large grocery store within a couple of blocks, and a green public space with an attractive fountain less than a block away at the base of Utrechstraat. We enjoyed food and drink at the quiet neighborhood bar/restaurant a few doors away, and drew out cash at the ATM almost next door to our place. The area is not touristy feeling itself, though nightlife and attractions are very accessible. Bottom line: We happily would stay here again and recommend this accommodation to others."

MURAT CAGLAR TURKEY (04/29/2010) "It was very good accomodation. The sheets & towels are very clean. Calm Place. There was a market very close. It was close to open market as well. On the information part, it says you have to walk after the tram, but if you descend from the tram at Frederiksplein stop, you have just across the street which means right in front of tram stop. There is a very cosy cafe nearby as well. Accomodation ***** Price ***** Location ***** What are you waiting for? Book it!"
