The situation was quiet but near enough to good local shops and restaurants and a short walk to a tram to the centre, or to Vondelpark. The room had a pleasant view over a canal and was large enough for two people: it had everything you would need for a short stay. The bed and sofa were both very comfortable and the decoration was modern and in very good condition.The cost was more than we had intended to spend but it was well worth it and probably not expensive in the context of Amsterdam hotel rates. The owners live underneath and were nothing but helpful. My daughter and I spent three happy days there and would definitely return. "
