This studio is in a great, non-touristy neighborhood, quiet and convenient to both local shops and other parts of the city using the tram system. Vondel Park is very close, and a wonderful place to walk, run, or just hang out. The studio's terrace is a terrific asset, of course. We stayed in the studio for three weeks, and slept like babies - better than we do at home! Margo is so helpful and accommodating. If you want to experience Amsterdam as much like a local as possible, this is the place! "

The roof terrace was great and we had breakfast out there everyday in the sunshine (on sunny October days). Could have benefited from a separate bathroom but we were happy with arrangements for the two of us. We would highly recommend this apartment and will almost certainly return ourselves. "

The terrace is pleasant and quiet but in the bed area, on the upper level, there was too much noise from the street traffic, which was especially annoying at night."

Plus, there was no better way to start or end a day than to walk or ride through VondelPark which is less than five minutes away. The terrace was a very tranquil spot to smoke a cigarette and think, "Wow, I'm in Amsterdam!" Marjo was a very nice host, and she helped to make us feel very relaxed. We loved having the roof terrace and the extremely warm October weather meant we could take full advantage of it. We also liked the style in which the lounge and dining area were furnished - very attractive in an indonesian / bohemian fashion. Cooking facilities were basic but adequate - particularly as there are some really great places to eat very close by - including a particularly good indonesian take-away. Marjo was a great hostess - it really was a pleasure to meet her and she made us feel very welcome. "

The host was really great, very helpfull and friendly. Met us with 2 hot cappucino, explained everything we wanted to know, recomended us activities in Amsterdam and gave us good tips during our stay. The location was good, close to the supermarket/ shoping area and tram/bus station(5-10 min by tram to the centre). Also the train station was very close (only 2 spops by tram). We realy enjoyed our vacation thanks to this wonderfull city and of course thanks to such a nice accommodation! :)"

This roof terrace is simply perfect to enjoy some fresh air and rest. The place is calm and we slept very well. Marjo, the host, is a really charming person and makes you feel at home."
