The rooms are large and light in the daytime, and the roof terrace must be lovely when the weather’s good. Having our own entrance made it feel like it was our own home, but people with mobility issues should beware the extremely steep stairs. The location is excellent, on a quiet street, yet close to cafés, restaurants, numerous interesting shops, and at walking distance to many sights. Our only complaint is rather dim lighting in some of the rooms. We recommend this apartment and would stay there again. "

The weather was poor so we were delighted to have a warm and comfortable apartment to return to each day. Roland, the host was very helpful on our arrival. The apartment is spacious and well appointed with a "proper" kitchen, a rarity in rental accommodation. Much of central Amsterdam is within walking distance and there is a good tram service for going a little further afield. We also used the Stop/Go bus service which runs along Prinsengracht and will pick up or drop off anywhere on its route for 1 euro. There are numerous shops, cafes and restaurants with a minute or two walk. The neighbourhood is beautiful and very quiet at night (for sleeping rather than lack of nightlife!). We would highly recommend the apartment and would like to return ourselves."

The landlord/owner was very helpful with check-in and out, and provided really useful information about local transportation options. The apartment is on a very quiet, clean and safe street which is right near lots of restaurants, cafes and other little shops, and is also just a few streets away from a great bike rental shop. We walked to almost every major tourist attraction, but the trams lines are very close as well. "
